The warranty is issued by GoNano, the manufacturer. We are the Certified Contractor who assesses your roof, applies the treatment to GoNano specifications and registers your coverage. How long it runs depends on which system your roof qualifies for and the condition it is in when we treat it.
GoNano warrants that the application of its NuRoof products, applied by a Certified Contractor, will prevent the treated asphalt shingles from exhibiting premature peeling, curling or warping attributable to the treatment process, for the full coverage period.
Coverage is capped at 5,000 square feet of treated area per property. If your roof has more treated area than that, all of it stays eligible, but the amount payable is reduced in proportion. On a property with 10,000 square feet treated, for example, half the calculated amount applies.
One distinction worth holding on to: the coverage period below is how long the warranty runs. It is not the same as the added roof life GoNano talks about elsewhere. That figure describes what the technology is designed to do; this page is about what is written down and backed.
GoNano scores a roof from 0 to 100 on its Roof Health Score, and the score decides which NuRoof system can be applied and which warranty comes with it. That score is what your free evaluation produces.

GoNano sends a Certified Contractor to inspect the affected area at no cost to you, and to document whether a covered defect is present.
If the inspection confirms a covered defect, GoNano arranges a complete re-treatment of the affected area at no cost. The re-treatment carries the same protection for whatever is left of the original coverage period.
If the re-treatment does not resolve the defect within twelve months, GoNano provides an allowance toward replacement shingle materials, or supplies the materials. GoNano calculates the amount from the affected area, its published square footage value and the pro-ration for that warranty year.
Steps 1 and 2 are provided in kind and are not subject to the area cap or the pro-ration. Step 3 is the monetary one, and that is where the square footage value, the pro-ration for the year and the area cap apply. GoNano responds within 30 business days of receiving complete documentation.
Most of this is on us. The registration is the one with a deadline, and we handle it with you at the time of treatment.
The warranty can be transferred one time to whoever buys the property. GoNano needs written notice within 30 days of the sale, along with a copy of the contract. It is worth listing in the property disclosure.
If your shingle manufacturer denies a claim on the assumption that the NuRoof treatment compromised the shingles, GoNano facilitates the claim with that manufacturer at no cost to you.
On request, GoNano provides a Warranty and Treatment Certificate you can give your insurance carrier. Whether an insurer grants a discount is up to the insurer.
Where it is included in your warranty, GoNano sends a digital check-in every year of the coverage period with a self-inspection checklist, maintenance reminders and seasonal care tips. You can send photos for remote assessment at no extra cost.
Separate from the structural coverage, GoNano covers cleaning and restoration if staining or discoloration appears on treated shingle surfaces during the coverage period, up to the amount set by the pro-ration table. It is a guarantee about appearance, not a pesticidal claim.
If you choose to treat the roof again after the term, GoNano holds 20% off its then-current per square foot price for one re-treatment, exercised within 24 months of the warranty expiry date.

Claims go to GoNano in writing at warranty@gonano.com, within 60 days of first becoming aware of the issue. Include your warranty registration number, the property address, and a description of the defect with photos. A Certified Contractor then needs reasonable access to assess the roof.
GoNano responds within 30 business days of receiving complete documentation. As part of an inspection GoNano may run material analysis testing, including FTIR spectroscopy, to confirm the presence, condition and performance of the applied treatment.
